Currently the home says "GUADEC (pronounced GWAH-DEC) is an acronym
for the GNOME Users' And Developers' European Conference. "
In fact last year we decided to get rid of the acronym, in the best
GNOME style. Now GUADEC means The GNOME Conference.
This is the background of that slogan. :)
