I prefer the first one, it seems more in keeping with the style of  
the other HC icons.  It's simple, it has a unique shape (compared to  
the other media icons), and it doesn't take a big leap of imagination  
to work out what it represents.  Especially if you have a tape drive  
attached to your computer :)
