It's great to have such a quick answer.
I've looked through https://wiki.gnome.org/Outreachy, and found myself to be eligible for this program also :) It is written there that applying for both programs at once is a good idea.

Thank you for appreciation of my research. Of course I will be happy to make other contributions to the project! Plan of work you have outlined sounds absolutely reasonable. Will be waiting for any news from Florian or some less busy person who would like to mentor this work.
