Hi everyone!
This is my second GSoC and I'm very happy to participate again this
year. This time I will port Jokosher audio multi track editor to
newest GTK+/GNOME technologies. I'm using GNOME 3 for a month and I'm
very impressed. While there are rough corners here and there,
direction seems to fit with my POV how computer should help users. I
will not only work on porting, but also look into improving user
expierence using new posibilities of frameworks.
This week I still have been very busy due of studies so I don't
nothing exciting to report yet. But I finally got some free time this
weekend so I started to work on jhbuild to build newest and hottest
gobject-introspection and pygobject on my Fedora 15 laptop. I also
started to study documents and scripts to convert PyGTK to
PyGI/PyGObject. So far it looks quite managable and I will try to
deliver first working version next week.
Cheers,
Peteris Krisjanis.
