Week 3

Almost no code this week, only some corrections in my recorder. Also, I talked to Sandy that explained me how Tomboy works with C code, and then I looked into earlier versions of the code to see it in practical.

Most of my classes and exams will be finished at the end of this week, so I will be free to work more on the project. I can barely wait!

After I studied gstreamer a bit, I have now a player and a recorder written in C, both very simple, just to be called from tomboy via dll. That's my next step.

These next weeks will be very hard- here in Brazil we are still having classes and exams, until the end of June.

Week 1

The first official week coding for GSoC was actually the least productive for me since the acceptance, due to a health problem- I'm better now. All that I've studied and decisions I took with the help of my mentor (Nickolay) were done in previous weeks.

What I have done so far:
- We decided to code in C, and load the methods from a DLL. This will involve gstreamer for record/play the notes.
- Creation of the Tomboy plugin. Tomboy brings a nice and simple way to create plugins. There is already a button in the note's toolbar, doing nothing.

Well... I don't have much to say.
