Salut!

Last week was pretty productive. Besides fixing some Evolution bugs I
implemented gconf-based email accounts. Actually I wanted to have that
ready on monday, but it takes longer than expected. This implementation
will store all the account properties directly in gconf and not first in
xml and then to gconf as it's done nowadays. I will provide a nicer API,
a comprehensible implementation and a rich set of tests. To be
compatible I have to use libxml to parse and create accounts in the
current format. But the libxml is a bit hard to use in vala. While I was
hacking in Vala (and I did that a lot last week), I found a couple of
bugs and a few of them are already fixed :)
To finish, I need to build one or two functions in order to have more or
less the same API as we have today and I probably want to modify Evo to
use the newer API. I hope to get that done this week so that I can
present my results next monday.
