This is not a web forum — "bumping" does not really work. :-)

You probably want to join the #gnome-shell IRC channel on
irc.gnome.org and ask the developers there.

You also may want to look at what OpenBSD and FreeBSD are doing, since
they are the few people still exercising the ConsoleKit code paths.
