By the way, I found out why I could no longer install extensions  (or 
view my installed ones), after upgrading Firefox (to 10.0.1) on my 
Ubuntu 11.10 box it wasn't working (nor was flash), I reinstalled the 
plugins and it worked. I put it here in case someone else has this.
