I do use tabs, too. But still have the habit to have at least one
terminal (possibly with many tabs) on most of my workspaces, each
dedicated to some task.

Their goals and features seem to be pretty similar.
My distro (Gentoo) has the latter in the most recent version 0.96, but
that wants to pull in a ton of GNOME2 stuff (bonobo and friends), so I
didn't give it a try for now.
