hi I have an idea for improving window management in Gnome Shell.
managing multiple windows is sort of a problem in GS, because there is no easy (enough) way to minimize windows. the user has an option to:
1. right click on the windows titlebar and click on Minimize. This has to be repeated for EACH window
2. use the shortcut keystroke Super - D to minimize ALL windows.
Very often, the user may want to clear his/her workspace of all but ONE window. There can be a very easy way to do this:
In the Activities mode, double-clicking on a window would bring that window up, and minimize all others.
what do you think of the idea?
