I personally think that icon size is perfect as is.
If some people needs bigger icons, then the icon size should be increased through the Universal Access (Large Text option maybe).

The bar on the right in the exposé view will be really great when we will see the other workspaces with the open applications visible on it (for the moment it's a little bit difficult to remember where are my other windows).

All in all, I love the new layout, especially the animation for the exposé view (so much smoother).
