Re: clutter and zeitgeist dropped?

Hi.

First: nothing of those things you mention is related to GNOME Shell,
there are lists for random-gnome-related things which are more
appropriate.

But for what it's worth:

No.

Zeitgeist was not dropped - you can't drop something which was never
included. The developers proposed it as an external dependency of GNOME
Activity Journal - as the latter was rejected and no other module has a
dependency on Zeitgeist, it didn't become an external dependency.

Clutter was proposed as desktop module and rejected - that does not mean
that it was dropped, but simply that it will remain an external
dependency as in GNOME 2.30 (gnome-games uses it now, and gnome-shell
which was accepted for 3.0 will depend on it as well).

Can we please move on now?
