Places is bug 636891, pending review. Recent items with zeitgeist is bug
593580, which looks very old, but I know that Seif Lotfy was working on
it
(http://seilo.geekyogre.com/2010/12/revisiting-gnome-shell-zeitgeist/).
Can't say what resulted from it.
