Re: Gnome Applets

Hello!

My apology, it is a bit exaggeration of me by using the term. I am thinking of people who work in transportation, for we have here sinking ships due to bad weather, so I am thinking that the weather information is really important especially for people who travels a lot. See for instance : http://travel-philippines.com/general-info/weather.htm
Of course, there must be people who will add this feature to the GNOME Shell, but adding this as an option of the default install is surely a bonus.

Again, my apology...

Cheers,
Allan E. Registos

P.S. @ Mar Curtis:
No I am not referring to appointments, but weather forecast/condition, say today and for the next five days so that I can plan a safer travel. This is not important in areas where there are no tropical cyclones or typhoons or heavy rains.

Using that logic, when is it 'critically important' to know the date/time (at a glance)?
If you have an appointment it should be in the calendar and notify you when it's relevant.
