Hope I could clear things up a little (and that you don't dislike the
answers completely ...)
Thanks for that. Answers make sense - better not to have minimize if it
produces surprising effects. And I'm glad to hear about the app menu.
Sure, the whole thing will take some time to get used to, but it does look
like a good start to me.
I'm a workspace junkie, so making more space for something usually means
going to a new one and starting things there. Minimize is useful when
things accidentally get behind other things (focus follows mouse +
autoraise gets me in trouble sometimes). But, I guess hitting one key to
see things isn't that hard.
