Re: Window management pie menu

I just finish to read the "new grid view layout" proposition of Alexandre Kaspar.

And I now I understand what you mean by "an workspace available above". At first I was thinking about dual screens, one over the other.

In order to explain my point of view, I made a little diagram here.

I hope that it can help us to get an better idea of what we want (or not).
Thanks.

I don't know for the grid view,  I just talks about the full screen view.
But in  full screen we don't really need the sensibility menu-bar in the center.
If  we double click a window top bar, it already resizes  to fit the whole screen.
We can just keep the two sides zones, left and right.

In this case, we can pass through the center to send an application to the upper workspace.

For Aero, we need 3 touch points, one for the whole screen and two for the half screens.
I don't know if it's possible but can we cut the menu-bar sensibility in three parts, with a big one in the center?

I have been thinking around the same concept and it works great in linear view. But what would be behaviour be in grid view when there is a workspace available above you?
