Re: Window management pie menu



If you really needed to place the window on a specific workspace, then you should use the overview. If we add this functionality to the pie menu, we would sacrifice the ability to throw widows out of the way, and I believe that is the main benefit of such a menu-it allows users to quckly set aside windows without breaking their workflow.

You could instead of arrows have each workspace represented by their
number, and require the user to press the button of the workspace they
want to send the window too.

Maybe:
- if you quickly drag to the button or click it, you move the window to
the next workspace
- if you drag and hold the mouse over the pie button not releasing the
button, miniatures of all desktops in that direction unfold and you may
drop the window on the selected desktop
