Task list in Gnome Shell - mockup

Hello,
here is my attempt at eliminating the bottom task list.
It could be combined with the "Breadcrumbs" mockup already mentioned here.

And.. excuse my poor Inkscape skills, try to imagine the whole thing
in action and maybe with different width/height/placement...
