Just a thought I had this morning regarding the apps and docs 'more' fly
out list panels.
I would find it convenient if I could drag the panel edge to make the
panel wider (hence list more columns of items which would at the same
time reduce the count of pages at the bottom)? Users already use this
convention with app windows, drag the edges to make windows bigger or
smaller, they could transfer this behaviour easily to certain overlay
panels?
Bounds could be applied so they can't hide the panel completely
(clicking less gets rid of it as is currently implemented.)
Any thoughts?

I posted the following on the desktop-devel list
(http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2009-July/msg00014.ht
ml),
and it was suggested that the gnome-shell-list would be a better place
to ask about this. (Sorry about the cross-post).

LOVE IT!
I love the way the recent docs fly out when the side bar is collapsed
I love the way the less and more now open an extra panel with 1-2-3 at
the bottom (although there could be some other cool ideas for how to
list surf, like putting the numbers in tabs that are easier to click
on).
Can't wait for the Zeitgeist to be part of the shell so I can easily
find my stuff.
