It bodges the issue. It uses the DPMS extension, and I think we assume
we only have one screen active. We currently use GDK_DISPLAY which is
probably just a bodge.

Yes, this is a good powersaving idea.

Yes, this is good. Does anybody on the list run dual head with DPMS?
