Hi
I am using:
evolution-1.4.5-SuSE.ulb.1
gnome-pilot-2.0.10-SuSE.ulb.1
pilot-link-0.11.7-24
The first time I performed a sync today I noticed that the following
evolution-conduits performed a slow sync:
m8ram linux:~> grep slow /data/logs/gpilotd.log.20041204.1
eaddrconduit-Message: doing slow sync
ecalconduit-Message: doing slow sync
etodoconduit-Message: doing slow sync
What causes a conduit to perform a slow sync?
I also noticed that a lot of appointments/contacts were marked as "not
equal" even though I haven't edited them in months!
For one of my contacts I noticed that the number in the "mobile" field
was duplicated twice in the "other" fields. In evolution the number was
shown in "mobile" and once in "other".
I shut down and restarted gpilotd to copy the log-file.
I removed the number in the "other" field in evolution and performed
another sync. This time all conduits performed a fast sync but the
numbers were not deleted on my palm, even though I see "replace_record"
in the gpilotd-log.
So I removed the numbers on the palm and synced again. Now all fields
are equal.
But I also noticed that an appointment I added on my palm was
succesfully synced to evolution but appears to be *deleted* from my
palm! Editing the appointment in evolution doesn't cause it to be
synced!
Also an appointment I edited today on my palm was duplicated in
evolution even though it appears once on the palm.
Any idea what might be wrong here?
TIA
Bram
