Re: Treo 300: pilot-link works, gnome-pilot doesn't

Definately kernel, I don't even have to launch pilot-link or
gnome-pilot or anything in fact, to cause it to happen, and I can reproduce
it consistantly every single time (much to the dismay of fsck and my inodes)

There have been some attacks lately on the server, DoS'ing it, I'm
working on blocks and fixes now. This is what happens during wartime, I
gues.

Yep, I had the same results, worked well (though my Treo90 has a
much newer OS version than your Treo300, but it still works perfectly).

I'll give the gnome-pilot patch a test early this coming week.

You could also jump onto irc.pilot-link.org in #pilot-link, and ask
jpr, the gnome-pilot maintainer, if he's around, and see if he can help you
out. He recently acquired a Tungsten device, so I presume he's working on
fixes to address the same device detection issues you're looking into with
the Treo.
