Thx Carlos and Patrick, your replies got much me further.
I inititated mh and create some folders and an mh inbox.. (BTW is MH
thought of as a cool mail reader?!?) and autogenerated some messages
from my regular mailreaders mailbox. I found the mh commands a bit
strange at first but they seem to do the job. Anyway specifying the
correct MH directrory to the conduit and doing a sync, the messages
were indeed downloaded to my pilot.
But really i want a exact copy of the messages from my current inbox
folder on my linux box to the mailreader on the pilot. So now i get
to the bit where kpilot had been messing things up too. If i do
nothing special to the mh inbox then messages will be loaded again and
again into my pilot. I will have several copies of the same messages
and it seems the pilot mail program just doesn't see that they are the
same. Also i would like the pilot mail program to throw messages away
if they are removed in my inbox.
Somehow i think i need to use a different mailreader program on my
pilot to do all the above. Hmmm, maybe i should autogereate a
MailDB.pdb and do a restore to the pilot in stead of using a mail
conduit.
Regards Antoon.
