i also feel that making gpilotd libs LGPL is the way to go. the rest
of gnome-pilot should stay GPL. if you look at pilot-link, they also
chose to do it in this way. libpisock is LGPL - that is why
malsync (non GPL) can use it! - and the rest is GPL.
