Package devkit-gobject was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `devkit-gobject.pc'
A package with that name does not exist on my distribution :/
Hm. I can't do it myself right now, but have you checked
http://packages.ubuntu.com for a package containing that file?
I should have added in the first place that I checked for a package
containing devkit-gobject.pc (or similar).
But since Ubuntu-9.10 ships DeviceKit-power 011 you might not need to
build it yourself. Have you tried just skipping the package?
Yes, I tried, but I was going for gnome-session and was stuck on some
missing dependencies that I thought included DeviceKit-power.
But it just turned out that I was wrong, and gnome-session built
without DeviceKit-power.
Never mind.
