[gnome-love] Contribute and play games at the same time

Admit it: when you were little you wanted to be one of those people who
got paid to test games.

Here is your big chance ... well, except for the getting paid part. But
you can at least play the games as part of contributing to GNOME.

The gnome-games module contains a lot of games. It has one maintainer
(Callum McKenzie). He is a busy guy. The good news is that he has a TODO
list. The bad news is that it contains many items.

Check out the gnome-games module from CVS. You really need to use the
CVS version for this, since things are being actively maintained. In the
file called TODO in the CVS module you just checked out, there is a list
of tasks. The appropriate bug number of written next to each task (at
least where a corresponding bug exists).

Having a quick scan through that list suggests that there are tasks for
people with all sorts of skills. Some of the problems are just to work
out what is going on with some bug, some have concrete ideas attached,
some involve documenting existing code, creating new graphics, and so
on.

So dive in, pick a task in a game you like (or in a game you have never
heard of and would like to learn about) and go for it.

Callum has asked, though, that anybody who wants to pick these tasks
should drop him an email at the same time (the email address is in the
MAINTAINERS file), just so that he can coordinate the work and make sure
that each task is only being tackled by one person at a time.

Cheers,
Malcolm
