Can i suggest that this info be put in big flashing letters on the
developer.gnome.org site? This is an annoying roadblock to newcomers like
us who are trying to get up to speed with CVS head and start contributing.
I've run into this problem many times where i couldn't build, I would ask
on IRC or the lists and people would say "update cvs" and i would think
"man, those guys are silly, i litterally just checked out all of gnome 2
minutes ago." I thought there were some syncing problems, but wasn't
sure. Apologies if this is already up there somewhere.
Cheers,
Joschi
The main thing that is getting you here is that the anonymous CVS
servers are only synced once a day from the main server (I have no idea
of the time schedule for that). So any commit to cvs.gnome.org may
appear on anoncvs.gnome.org as much as 24 hours later.
