I've been running the linux distro "familiar" and also "intimate" on my
ipaq with X and for a while I was running
http://www.trolltech.com/products/qt/embedded/qpe.html which has matured
quite well.

What I'd like to know: Is there currently a project to develop a uGnome
(micro gnome) for handhelds such as the iPaq?

If not, I'd like to solicit volunteers to start work on desinging a gtk
based embeded gui.

Please suppress all arguments about the (mythical) bloatedness of X, or
how gtkfb does (or does not) suck.
