Gnome 2.10

All,

I have a set of install scripts that add menus to gnome 2.4, 2.8 installations
using  virtual folders as outlined in the admin guide.

There doesn't seem to be an admin guide for 2.10 and these scripts no longer
work. 

I have a set of applications that I want to add under our corporate menu, and a
set of launchers to add to that menu.

How is this accomplished in 2.10?
