For questions about bonobo like this, you may wish to try asking on the
gnome-components list. Alternatively, try gnome-devel. You are asking
fairly deep development questions on a user list, rather than a
developer list, which may explain the lack of responses. Some developers
do read this list, but not all the time and sometimes just by scanning
the topics.

I cannot help you on this one, since I do not use Bonobo in anything I
work on.
