Re: CD burning in GNOME



I've tried a number of different software programs for burning data CDs in Linux, and always end up going back to X-CD-Roast. Unlike the others you can pretty much count on it working, and the interface is quite similar to the typical Windows-ish CD programs.

Note that if you've got a Red Hat box it's probably better to uninstall the RH version which seems to have various issues (and is not always current), and instead grab the RPM directly from www.xcdroast.org.
