Can't build rpms from gnome-core-1.4.0.tar.gz

Is this a specfile issue? If so, does anyone have a fix? 

Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to figure this one out :(, but
figured not only would I like a fix, but since its a release candidate,
someone may like to know, and I haven't seen this in the mailing list
(maybe in a different gnome list?).

It seems to build fine, but I get the following error near the end:

Could not open %files file /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/
gnome-core-1.4.0/gnome-core-devel.files: No such file or directory
