I think that depends on the chosen terminal. LaTeX and gnuplot
(pslatex) graphs seem fine to me - at least as good, if not better
than the similar Excel output. In my opinion the biggest problem is
the input, it takes some fiddling with scripts which GUI users
probably aren't going to like.
