Re: Installing gnome-core-1.2.1

Heh, nothing like answering your own question. After hacking with the
gnome 1.2.1 packages last night, I finally got them to work. Basically, I
did a sudo rpm -tb gdk-pixbuf-0.9.0.tar.gz to create an rpm file from the
tarball. I then switched to the /usr/redhat/RPMS/i386 (not the exact
directory, but close enough), where the gdk-pixbuf-0.9.0.rpm and
gdk-pixbuf-devel.0.9.0.rpm files are put. I then did a sudo rpm -i
gdk-pixbuf-0.9.0.rpm and rpm -i gdk-pixbuf-devel.0.9.0.rpm to install the
rpm packages. From there, gnome-core-1.2.1 configured perfectly.
