Re: Help with instalation for Debian

I have to warn you that I have very little experience with Debian systems...

I believe that Debian is designed so that you can use apt to upgrade your
system, thus once you install debian you basically never have to reinstall
- you just keep using apt-get and upgrade your system.

Since this is the case with Debian, I don't think you'd have a problem with
installing Helix GNOME on Debian 2.1 (2.2 hasn't been released yet anyway,
has it?). Hopefully someone with more knowledge will get back to you with
more accurate information (if I'm wrong).

In any event, I hope you get Helix GNOME installed and working without
problems,

Jeff
