Hi,

The Red Hat RPMs used to come from RHAD Labs (volunteer Dax Kelson
also used to work on them); the Labs just can't justify the time to
closely track the latest stuff if Helix has perfectly good RPMs. The
packaging stuff takes a _lot_ of time. Official Red Hat RPMs will come
with the next version of Red Hat, though.

If anyone wants to make non-commercial RPMs, they are of course
welcome to do so and place them on ftp.gnome.org.
