compiling gnome_libs

I 've compiled "gnome-lib-1.0.55" on HPUX-11.00 platform. !!
When I installed the package, "gnome-config" and "gnome-bug" installed with
"0600" permission, rather than "0755" permission.
I can hack the "Makefile" and change the permissions, but I would n't think i
need to do this sort of silly hacks with the programs in "gnome" project.
Am i doing somthing wrong or is that really a bug in program?
