Concordia students:can't find info on GNOME (fwd)

Hey everyone, I just got this email in response to (presumeably) Helix
GNOME, but as you can see, it's not Helix-specific. I figured I'd forward
it here so that they can get all the information they could ever want
about GNOME.

Thanks,
Joe

Subject: Concordia students:can't find info on GNOME

Hello, we are three students in Software Engineering in Concordia
University, Montreal, Canada. We are required to do a project in one of
our courses on GNOME, but we cannot find any information about it. It is
all either downloads or tutorials full of screenshots.

If you have the time, please let us know ASAP if you have any ideas
where we can find the info on GNOME.

Please send the info to: zuravly@concordia.ca or seriousa1@hotmail.com

This project has made us discover the GNU project and its various
programming tasks. As it is our first year in programming, we can
probably join you guys in september, as we will hopefully be skilled
enough for the basic tasks. We are really excited about the idea of free
and open software!
WE HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF C++, DO YOU THINK WE CAN START WRITING ANY
KIND OF FUNCTION DESCRIPTIONS THAT WE HAVE HEARD ARE NEEDED FOR A LOT OF
NEW GNU PACKAGES? (OR MAYBE WE CAN WRITE FUNCTIONS TOO?)

please give us your opinion at zuravly@concordia.ca or
sarai@concordia.ca
