I was wondering if anyone using Caldera OpenLinux has run GNOME on it? I have
a friend whose dad just got the family OpenLinux, which is configured for KDE.
It doesn't even come with GTK, much less GNOME. I've tried installing rpms for
GNOME, but they won't install, giving a huge list of unmet dependencies. I'm
sorry that I don't have the list... I'm working on my own Red Hat system now.
I couldn't but GTK from source as my friend's father didn't install any source,
and didn't want to at the time.
The point is, if anyone know's how to get GTK/GNOME running on OpenLinux, could
you send me some instructions to forward to my friend?
Thanks,
Sean Middleditch
