I don't either, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining about the configuration :-)

I'll do just that.

This panel startup complaint that gnome does every so often is bad as
well.  It says that there is another panel running, when there really
isn't and when you restart gnome, there is no panel at all.  Oops.
