Re: sounds in Gnome

Ok, sorted the sound problem. This seems to be a problem with
enlightenment rather than Gnome (there's more of a learning
curve, learning a new wm and gnome!).

gwmpeg/mpg123 are not esd-aware (apparently), so it's necessary
to turn off esd ("esdctl off") before it will work. It's fine
now.

Time to look for an esd aware mpeg player!
