Install gnome-libs seg faults and dies

Hi all:

Well the problem with the docs not compiling was cured by you folks, thanks!

Now, I am still getting segmemtation faults EVERY time make install tries
to generate the mime database.

The program in question: gnome-gen-mimedb

This segfaults instantly when ran, either by itself or as part of the
installation.  

Has anyone ran into this problem?  Anyone got a simple fix?
