At first I though that was kinda silly, but in some cases it's actually
useful. Some companies, for instance, have their employees do something in
between taking tech support calls. You could switch projects every time the
phone rings and then switch again when you hang up, but perhaps you're not
interested in the kind of fine-grained report on how your time was spent.
You just want to know that from 9 to 12 you worked on project A and from 1
to 5 you worked on project B and from 9 to 2 you were intermittedly doing
tech support.
