This idea sounds great and reminds me of an idea I had a while back...One
thing I would like to see in gnome and/or E (I think it's more to do with E)
is the ability to configure where new windows will appear based on their
name. It would be nice to have all your Netscape FTP windows to all appear
on their own desktop. Also, the ability to configure the z-order of new
windows would be useful. Imagine reading /. in the morning, middle-clicking
on all the stories you're interested in to pop up a dozen netscape windows
underneath the current window, or even on another desktop altogether!
