trouble configuring ORBit

[psalzman landau ucdavis edu]

dear all,

i've seen this posted at least twice to the gnome homepage, but no solutions were 
given.  during the configuration of ORBit, i get the following message:

creating ./config.status
creating Makefile
creating po/Makefile.in
sed: can't read ./po/Makefile.in.in: No such file or directory
creating config.h
config.h is unchanged

i'm sure more people have seen this -- can someone tell me what the problem
is and how to fix it?  the configure script is really difficult to read...
