GUI of Windows2001

Just found a link to the possible User Interface from
Microsoft's "vaporware" 2001:

In 2 years, when 2001 comes out, will we have a
next-generation GUI to top it?

P.S.-Probably this wasn't the best place to speak of
such general topics, but maybe gnome 2.0 can be more
user-friendly and intuitive, and try out new things
