guile-snarf?

I've given up on tarballs and am back to trying to compile
from CVS for the moment for RH5.2 ...

For both libgtop and gnome-guile, 'make' fails because it
cannot find guile-snarf.  What is this?  I have guile-1.3
and guile-devel-1.3 RPMs on my machine.  Is there another
RPM I need, or is there another GNOME module I need to
compile and install first.
