| That fixed that problem (thanks) but now configure dies with this error:
|
| ./configure: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
| ./configure: ./configure: line 531: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'

Your autoconf setup is messed up. The easiest workaround is to move all
the aclocal files in the GNOME tree to the main tree (usually
/usr/share/aclocal on Linux and /usr/local/share/aclocal on others) and
then symlink /usr/share/aclocal into the GNOME tree.
