Re: Gnome 1.0.0?



I think that it is not ready for 1.0 for basically those same reasons. 
I think that Control-Center has obviously had some major changes since
the last RPM/Tarball release and those need to be tested more
thoroughly.  I also think that Control-Center is critical to making
Gnome 1.0 a successful launch.  I also think a few more things need to
be done to the file manager before it should be released with Gnome
1.0.  And, Balsa desperately needs better error handling, more user
documentation, and better user feedback.  :)

I will say that out of all of that, though, Balsa is probably of the
least immediate concern.  The biggest thing for me would be making sure
that Control-Center is ready, and maybe even waiting for a GTK 1.2
release.
