[BUGS] GMC Bugs and Wishes.

Ok, here's a mouthful of bug reports, wishes, and dreams for that cool
little file manager, GMC. :)

    1. The Trashcan somehow looks very bland, and "square" to me. Ok,
so it's just aesthetics, but I personally think that this is quite drab
and boring.

    2. Clicking on the transparent portions of an icon fails to perform
a selection. Try clickin on the various transparent parts of the RPM
icon to see what I mean. :)

    3. It would be nice if there were more options available when right
clicking on the background panel on the right of GMC. For example, a
new folder button would be a good start. :) It would also be nice of
there were a button to do this on the taskbar.

    4. This may be fixed already, but on mine if I select the text in
the location field with the mouse, and then hit the delete key, only one
character is deleted, as opposed to the entire selection.

    5. On FTP filesystems such as ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/ the
directories are not browsable. Double-clicking on one of the
directories results in nothing better than an error dialog appearing on
the screen.

    6. It would be nice if you could right click on the directories in
the left pane and perform the usual rename, copy, and move functions
from there.

    7. Um, wouldn't it be nice if the "Edit" menu had "Cut, Copy, and
Paste" operations similarly to the ones in KDE and Winders?

    8. Context-menus should be ordered in a more structured way. It
would be nice if the default double-click action were are the top of the
list, and maybe even bolded so that it would stand out more. It would
also be nice if the keyboard shortcuts for the various actions were
listed on the context-menu as well.

    9. [Ducking, and donning a flameproof suit] Could you please add
web browser support the the file-manager. <just kidding>

Whew, ok, maybe that was more than one mouthful. Anyway, keep up the
great work, and keep the faith. :)
